1954 Mr.Kazu Yamada was born in MINO. Inspired by the beautiful shino tea bowl that named "icicle" he decided to become a ceramic artist. The bowl was made by the lateTokuro Kato, the ceramic giant in MINO.

When you observe Yamada's several works, you can find how he harmonizes the material, colour and the shape.
He has brushed up and established his design perfectly in each colour and clay. Of course he still keeps changing and progressing because he is always requiring the best performance.
